The multi-rotor system FlyNovex is one of the leading UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) of the FlyTop fleet. Lightweight, reliable and simple to use (in manual, GPS, automatic mode), the flexibility of use is its strength. FlyNovex was designed for applications that include the survey of territory, precision farming, the environmental monitoring and support for emergency situations, structural surveys and surveys on cultural heritage, the assistance during journalistic or film production activities.
The FlyNovex is able to carry many different sensors such as cameras, camcorders, thermal cameras, hyper-spectral, multi-spectral or Lidar sensors.
There are several configurations of the FlyNovex: with or without emergency parachute and with the possibility to orient the sensor on two or three axes.
The version with three axes Gimbal may require the presence of two operators (one with the remote control and one with the control of the sensor) and it is particularly suitable for applications where  the video component is fundamental (territory control, tracking of specific objectives on the ground , documentation of moving scenarios, etc.).
The FlyNovex is a multi-rotor UAV lightweight but extremely durable thanks to the high quality carbon fibre frame.
The version with the two axes Gimbal requires only one operator and comes on the field already assembled and ready for use. The flight will be carried out in manual, GPS or automatic mode: in this last case the flight plan is defined during the briefing using the specific software FlyTop Manager. This step can be done in the office or directly in the field using a traditional PC or a tablet.
Once in the air, the UAV carries out the pre-set mission and strictly follows the flight plan until landing, again automatically, on the established point.
In presence of obstacles or a smaller landing area, the operator can in any case exclude the automatic flight mode and land manually through the remote control. The automatic flight is particularly suitable when the operator needs to set up a flight on delimited areas within which the APR will acquire information with a specific frame rate, such as for example happens during an aero-photogrammetric survey of the territory or during a survey flight on a farm land. The FlyNovex ensures the conservation of a stable position and the almost complete coverage of the underlying scenario, if manually operated. Although the stabilization controls ensure the quality and safety of the flight, it is necessary a two days piloting course dedicated to the FlyNovex, that may be conduct  at theFlyTop S.p.A airfield.
After the landing the data acquired are transferred from FlyNovex to PC via Wi-Fi.
